Owners Elmarie and Theuns de Bruin spent more than three years lovingly restoring the old farmhouse at African Vineyard to create the beautiful retreat that it is today. The handcrafted, wooden furniture in the bedrooms is the handiwork work of Theuns, while Elmarie’s attentive touch and flair can be seen in the fine percale linen, delicious cuisine and warm hospitality that characterises this guesthouse. Theuns is also a keen landscape photographer and able to advise guests on the many unique locations in the area. Both are nature lovers, and the garden has been laid out in such a way as to attract as much of the rich birdlife of the area as possible.
